here, and I guess that you are very interested in learning

financial numbers and statements are very critical for running

accounting and analysis course. I'm your course instructor,
Padmini Srinivasan, and I'm faculty at the Indian
Institute of Management, Bangalore. I have been teaching financial
accounting and analysis for the last 14 years and to my students
in the MBA program and to the participants in
the executive education.

In this course, we will learn to
read the basic financial statement. You will also be able to analyze and
interpret the financial statement using several tools and techniques. You will also be able to understand
how your decisions that you take in your day-to-day business
affect the operating, investment, and financing decisions, and thereby,
the financial statement and overall performance of your business. But don't worry. We make this course simple, easy
to understand, and demystify the various terms and
jargons that are normally used in financial
statement and its analysis. This five week course is
designed in a systematic manner, and the learning happens
through interactive sessions, videos, case studies, explore
