I was lucky I observed what I desired to do early in live woz and I started Apple in my parent’s garage when I was 20 we worked hard and in 10 years Apple had grown from really the two of us in a garage into a two billion dollar company with over 4,000 works we are only secreted our finest innovation the Macintosh a year earlier and I only turned 30 and then I got fired how can you get fired from a company you started what had been the focus of my part adult living was proceed and it was devastating I certainly didn’t know what to do for a few months I felt that I’d tell the previous generation of financiers down I was a very public failure and I even thought about running away from the depression but something gradually began to dawn on me I still cherished what I did[ Music] we are gonna make it or interrupt it based on whether we can provide products to higher education and services and relationships to higher education that no one else provides and I think we ought to spend a hundred percentage of our time thinking about that and if we can’t do that then we ought to go broke and so I decided to start over I didn’t see it then but it turned out that going fuelled from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me the heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again less sure about everything it free-spoken me to enter one of the most creative points in my life during the next five years I started a company mentioned next another company worded Pixar and fallen in love with an astounding female who would become my wife I’m pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn’t been fired from Apple it was awful tasting medicine but I suspect the patient needed it sometimes life’s gonna knock you in the heading with a brick don’t lose faith I’m convinced that the only thing that restrained me croaking was that I affection what I did you’ve got to find what you love and that is as true for handiwork as it is for your admirers your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work and the only way to do great work is to cherish what you do if you haven’t found it more keep coming and don’t agree so keep looking don’t settle[ Music] you
